PHOTOCATALYTIC PAINT FOR AIR PURIFICATION
We offer universal paints and coating formulations TiCover that provide protection against microbiological and chemical contamination. TiCover has been designed as a system for cleaning the air and surfaces from organic and microbiological contamination, unpleasant odors, as well as inhibiting the growth of microorganisms in cooling devices. The system uses photoactive suspensions of TiO2. Paints applied on various surfaces show very good photocatalytic and bactericidal properties. Photoactive coating deposited on various carrier materials, various painting techniques, illuminated by UV light from various sources, can be used for air purification.
PHOTOCATALYTIC AIR PURIFICATION MODULE FOR VENTILATION AND COOLING DEVICES
TiCAir has been designed as a strengthening module, purifying the air and surfaces of organic and microbiological contamination, unpleasant odors, and inhibiting the growth of microorganisms in ventilation ducts, air conditioners, and free-standing air cleaning devices. The developed systems use photoactive TiO2 suspensions as well as antibacterial and antifungal copper compounds. The designed photocatalytic modules are extremely versatile and can be successfully used in various devices. Their heart is a photocatalytic insert – a photoactive coating (TiO2/Cu) deposited on various carrier materials, equipped with a UV light source. This system can be used to purify air in a variety of environments.
TRANSPARENT PHOTOCATALYTIC COATINGS FOR PROTECTION AGAINST MICROBIOLOGICAL AND CHEMICAL IMPURITIES
We have developed our own photoactive, transparent liquid TiO2 material that can be effectively applied to a variety of surfaces. The liquid sprayed on the surface in a short time creates a durable, practically invisible protective layer, which breaks down pollutants under the influence of ultraviolet light. This product can be used for the production of almost invisible coatings that allow cleaning surfaces from organic and microbiological contamination, removing unpleasant odors, and inhibiting the growth of microorganisms. The used photocatalyst does not wear out during use, it is permanently attached to the surface. The coating will last for at least a year, even with daily cleaning with alcohol-based cleaners and common detergents.
PATENTED TECHNOLOGY FOR ACTIVATION OF PHOTOCATALYTIC COATINGS TO VISIBLE LIGHT
Typical protective TiO2 coatings (including PhoTiCoat) require continuous activation with UV light for photocatalytic action. Such coatings can be successfully used to protect external and internal surfaces constantly exposed to sunlight. In places without UV radiation, mainly in dark rooms, toilets, elevators, etc., the access of ultraviolet light is minimal. In such places, we offer a very simple and effective solution consisting in applying an activator layer (AcTiVis) to the PhoTiCoat coating. This operation is as simple as wiping the surface with a cloth. In this way, the photocatalytic activity is significantly increased with typical daylight or artificial light in closed rooms, offices, production plants and public facilities. Although the action of the activator is limited in time (usually up to 1-3 months), its regeneration requires only wiping the surface again or spraying it with a fresh activator solution. The owner of the invention is the Jagiellonian University, its creators are the owners of InPhoCat. InPhoCat has an exclusive license to use the invention.
ANTIBACTERIAL, CONCENTRATED FABRIC SOFTENER
BioZinc is an antibacterial fabric softener developed by InPhoCat. It is a simple and effective concentrate. It is enough to add it to the last stage of washing to obtain soft and anti-microbial fabrics. And what distinguishes this product from others? It is safe, antiallergic and, above all, bacteriostatic (no bacteria grow on fabrics). The product is currently used in the innovative SimplyQ laundry.
RED PHOTOCATALYTIC COATINGS
InPhoCat has developed red coating material that can be effectively applied to a variety of surfaces, i.e. walls, glass, metal. The technology uses photoactive TiO2 suspensions, which, enriched with iron compounds, increase the photocatalytic activity (e.g. in the process of removing harmful NOx). This system can be used to clean surfaces and air in a variety of environments and protects against microbial and chemical contamination.

We have developed our own, transparent, liquid material that can be effectively applied to a variety of surfaces, i.e. furnitures, plastics, glass, metal. The liquid sprayed on the surface creates a durable, practically invisible protective layer, which provides HYDROPHILIC surface and prevents water droplets formation and protects against pollutants. One of the most interesting applications is the protection of mirrors and car windows
InPhoCat designed several types of the universal and flexible photocatalytic modules, which can be used in various devices. Their heart is a photocatalytic cartridge: a photoactive coating deposited on properly precleaned using corona treatment technique, various supporting materials (i.e. fiber, foils, metal, plastic) and equipped with a source of UV-light. This system can be used to purify air in various environments. The system is more effective than typical UV lamp. Why? Because the photocatalytic activity of titanium dioxide leads to a complete oxidation of remaining organic matter. The combination of photocatalysis of TiO2 with a activity of another compounds developed by InPhoCat has an excellent effect on elimination of microbiological and organic air pollutant.
