Aging test<\/strong> is a broad term used to describe different ways of simulating excessive ambient conditions exposure for a product or material under laboratory controlled, yet accelerated conditions<\/strong>. Aging tests can focus on various environmental factors (temperature, humidity, radiation). Heat aging<\/strong> is one of the simplest tests required in several industry segments. This type of testing is based on the assumption (called the Arrhenius law) that every chemical reaction doubles its rate with every 10\u02daC increments. Another test is based on exposition to UV light<\/strong> to simulate accelerated sun exposure. The results of this kind of studies deliver the knowledge on a service life of a product.<\/span><\/p>\n
